I have come to the realization as I enter the last year of my twenties, that I am no longer quarter-life (EEK!). Believe me, it is harder for me to write and say that then you can imagine. I started my Quarter-Life Wanderings blog at a really difficult time in my life. I had always loved writing and despite the fact I didn’t have the best track record with blogs, I needed an outlet. Somewhere to voice my thoughts, my travels, my wonders and wanders. I certainly wasn’t the best at keeping things up to date, but I did my best, given a crazy period in my life – full of sadness, death, and the craziness of living abroad.
As mentioned, I no longer am near quarter-life (let’s be honest, I am not going to be living until 116). Despite the fact I am still going through a different crisis every day (aren’t we all) I decided it was time to take this blog in a new direction. I am now living back in the states – something I honestly never thought would happen this “early” in my life. I have a steady, amazing job. I even have an awesome part-time job with VIPKID! I am closer to family and friends. And you know what? I travel still, too.
All this and she travels. I will be reformatting my blog, getting rid of certain segments, such as Monday Memories and Friday Firsts; adding new ones, including one I am really excited for called Postcards to Nowhere, and still sharing my travels, my wonders, and experiences with VIPKID! I write this blog for fun – maybe to inspire anyone who is reading. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy writing. Thank you for reading so far!
Onto the next chapter…And She Travels. Stay tuned 🙂
